President Barack Obama believes he would have won the 2016 presidential election had he been able to run, insisting the message of "hope and change" he campaigned on in 2008 still holds true.
"I am confident in this vision because I'm confident that if I had run again and articulated it, I think I could've mobilized a majority of the American people to rally behind it," Obama told David Axelrod, his former senior adviser and current CNN Senior Political Commentator, on CNN's "The Axe Files" podcast aired on Monday.
So there's that bait, just dangling there so enticingly.
But Trump's not dumb enough to take it, right?

And the best thing is that the President is right.
With the help of the Russians, Wikileaks, and James Comey Trump was able to create enough uncertainty around Hillary to scare away the easily manipulated.
That would not have happened with Obama who has already weathered everything the conservatives have thrown at him for the last eight years.
If Trump really thought he could beat Obama he would have run in 2012, instead of waiting until he was safely out of the contest.
And here is our President once again showing Americans how easy it is to troll this thin skinned wannabe dictator.
