Duck Dynasty will end after the finale of its current season, the Robertson family and A&E announced following the season premiere Wednesday.
“We’ve decided as a family for this to be the final chapter of the Duck Dynasty series,” Jase says in the announcement, with Willie’s wife Korie noting that the family might be back for “a special for two.”
The series finale will air April 12.
And once it's off the air America's cumulative IQ will steadily start increase. If we're lucky it might even get high enough not to vote for Donald Trump in 2020.
In truth I blame some of Trump's success on these reality shows because they made histrionics and outrageous comments common place and acceptable.
Without the "Jersey Shore" and "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" we might not have a president heading to the White House who made "grabbing them by the pussy" a campaign slogan.
So I am glad to see Duck Dynasty off the air, and I hope it is soon followed by every other brain cell murdering reality show as well.
