In this most recent completely ridiculous, illogical, inflammatory article they link to a University of North Carolina study which finds that the leading cause of "death" among minorities is "voluntary infanticide" which apparently is an anti-abortion phrase for terminating a pregnancy.
First off the definition of the word "infanticide" is the following:
1.the crime of killing a child within a year of birth.
2.a person who kills an infant, especially their own child.
Now when they say "killing a child within a year of birth" they mean within a year AFTER the birth, not before the birth.
I realize that some of these concepts can be confusing if you suffer some kind of severe brain damage or learn things from Right Wing news sources, but "death" can really only occur after "birth."
Therefore the leading cause of death among minorities is no more abortion than the leading cause of traffic accidents is caused by people not purchasing motor vehicles.
I think my favorite part of Palin's Facebook post was this snarky sentence:
The Politically Correct types don't want to talk about this.
Actually I'm more or less a politically correct type, and I really hope that Palin and her loony tune pals continue to talk about this, and other subjects like this.
It just makes it easier to point and laugh at them that way.
