I thought I would kick this thread off with that awesome video from Last Week Tonight, just for shits and giggles.
So here we are on the first night of the convention. I know some things have already happened earlier today so feel free to post and talk about them here as well.
Like this chanting of Bernie's name earlier in the evening.
Sanders, speaking later to his delegates in Philadelphia, was booed when he urged supporters to block Trump in the Nov. 8 election by backing Clinton and her vice presidential running mate, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia.
"Brothers and sisters, this is the real world that we live in," he said, adding, "Trump is a bully and a demagogue."
Members of the crowd screamed back: “So is Hillary.” "She stole the election!" someone else shouted.
Some people are having a serious problem dealing with reality right now.
As for the rest of the night, well grab your popcorn and your beverage of choice and let's allow the democracy to wash over us and remove the stench of last week's RNC convention from our pores.
