You would be excused for thinking that the above nonsense was the meandering response of a sixth or seventh grade student trying desperately to answer a question about one of our most famous presidents after failing to do the reading.
But you would be mistaken.
Instead it is the response from a man who currently leads the GOP field in his bid to be President of the United States.
Sadly that is only one of the incredibly ignorant responses that Trump gave to journalist Bob Woodward during an interview earlier this week.
And it is yet another reminder of why this presidential race is so incredibly important and why the candidate on the Democratic side needs to be knowledgeable, tested, and well schooled in GOP trickery.
