Sharon Osbourne Wishes Taylor Swift's Mom Well in Wake of Cancer Diagnosis

Swift wrote that her mother wanted her fans to know, "... because your parents may be too busy juggling everything they've got going on to go to the doctor, and maybe you reminding them to go get checked for cancer could possibly lead to an early diagnosis and an easier battle."

Cancer survivor Osbourne, 62, addressed Swift's post on her talk show, saying, "If it wasn't for my eldest daughter, Aimee, and Ozzy I probably wouldn't be here today, because I was always too busy to go to the doctors, tired, women – we find reasons for everything."

The former The Osbournes star underwent surgery for what she described as a treatable form of cancer in July 2002. Later she discovered her colon cancer had spread to her lymph nodes and was more serious than she originally thought.

And then in early November 2012, Osbourne revealed that she had undergone a double mastectomy after finding out she had a gene that increases the risk of developing breast cancer.

"I just want to say to Taylor," Osbourne added, "The world is praying for you and your family and sending positive, positive vibes and it works."
