Senate Armed Services Chairman John McCain has scheduled a hearing on cyber threats for Thursday, where the issue of Russia's election-year hacking will take center stage, a source familiar with the committee's planning told POLITICO.
Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, National Security Agency and Cyber Command Chief Adm. Mike Rogers and Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence Marcel Lettre are scheduled to testify, according to the source.
The timing of the hearing — three days into the new Congress — is in the same week that President-elect Donald Trump says he plans to be briefed by the intelligence community on the Russian hacking.
Next week? Trump is supposed to receive national security briefings every day, and he puts off a briefing on the Russians hacking the election that he supposedly won until next week?
Well fortunately is appears that John McCain and a number of other Senators on the Armed Services committee have already been receiving briefings and they are ready to do some real investigations.
Personally I think John McCain owes it to America to get Donald Trump arrested for colluding with a foreign government, and keep him the fuck away from the White House.
After all it was HIS VP choice that laid out the blueprint which allowed Trump to rally his racists and deplorables together to give him enough votes so that all it took was a little help from his Russian friends and the FBI to hand him the electoral college.
