A tweet Zayn posted on Sept. 17, 2011 on his personal account indicates that he had thought of leaving the band years before his stunning announcement on March 25 As Hollywood Life said.
Wow! It totally seems like Zayn was having his doubts about leaving the band early on. In fact, he was known to have had a difficult time when the band first came together on the X-Factor. Does this tweet mean that he was ready to turn the page on his career with them even earlier than many have thought?
Poor Zayn said in his exit statement that he wants “to be a normal 22-year-old,” and clearly the pressure seemed to be too much on him. HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY told you that Zayn even feared he would die if he didn’t quit the band.
Zayn Malik Can Rejoin One Direction Whenever He Wants
Though he may have contemplated leaving the band for years, the rest of the 1D boys would still love to have him back, HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY.
“Still, as far as the boys are concerned, Zayn has an open invitation to rejoin the group when he gets his head back on straight,” a source told us. “He’s a brother to them and they won’t turn their back on him in his time of need. They love him.” It’s good to know that Zayn’s friend’s will stand by him, even though he’s no longer a part of the group.
However, if Zayn does want to comeback, he’ll have to contend with Simon Cowell, who may have a different opinion on the matter.
Our insider revealed that “Simon Cowell and the record company may have other thoughts” and reservations if Zayn ever wanted to rejoin the group.
