Apparently this was in response to news that Ivanka Trump would be filling the role of First Lady while Melania stays in New York with Barron, or as I call him, that kid from the "Omen."

To her credit Loffe tried to apologize.

Sort of.

We have a president-elect who popularized "saying what everyone is thinking," but I guess my phrasing should've been more delicate.

Then she remembered that she was taking a new job with the Atlantic, and decided to put a little effort into it.

I think we can all agree that Loffe was a little off base here.

I mean sure the relationship between Trump and his daughter has all of the earmarks of a sexual predator and the prey that he has groomed for decades.

Sure he actually said that if she were not his daughter he would "date" her.

Sure he is constantly inappropriately touching her in public.

I'm sorry, what was off base again?
