Hart was not accused of raping Donna Rice, he did not slut shame her, he did not sexually harass her, and really there is only minimal evidence that he even had a sexual relationship with her.

And yet back in the 1980's this was all it took to stop an extremely popular presidential candidate from winning the White House.

And just look where we are today.
