(Remarks are at the beginning of the video.)
Courtesy of The New Civil Rights Movement:
Looking back on his tenure as president, Obama shared the challenges he faced when he first entered the Oval Office, including the financial crisis. And he shared his accomplishments too.
"I said we could create opportunity not just for those at the very top, but for everybody who's willing to work hard, so they could afford health care and college and retirement, and give their kids a better life. What Sarah Palin called that 'hopey changey stuff,'" Obama joked.
All Palin has wanted from this President, aside from dropping dead in office of course, is for him to mention her by name. And here he is finally doing so.
I somehow doubt she would appreciate the rest of the speech however, because the President goes on to list a number of achievements during his almost eight years in office. Many of which she bitched about vehemently on Facebook.
Personally I prefer President Obama's answer about Sarah Palin back in 2010:
"I don't think about Sarah Palin."
Nor should you Mr. President, nor should you.
