As a New York business tycoon, Donald Trump runs in Wall St circles, and would appoint hedge fund billionaire Carl Icahn to Treasury. Despite these ties, the two are Tea Party favorites and the current Republican frontrunners.
The Tea Party's rise to prominence, you'll remember, was fueled by the rage over the bank bailouts in the 2008 financial crisis.
