Hi, Today my friend Arnold are going to show you the unboxing and set up of the HP Photosmart 7520 printer. Here’s your Photo smart 7520 printer. The first thing you will want to do is open up the box. Pry open the box or carefully cut the tape and then open it up. Fold back all the flaps. You will notice on the top there are different compartments all holding different things. We will go through each one and show what is in them. The first thing to do is remove the cartridges. These are actually set up cartridges. They are designed to initialize your printer. You must use these cartridges when setting up your printer the first time.

Now we will pull out this fold of cardboard that is holding miscellaneous items for your printer and we will go through them. Open it up and the first item is your power cord which will later be attached to the power module. Here is the power module for your printer. This next item is a two wire phone cord so you can set up your printer to send and receive faxes. This includes your basic hardware set up information as well as your software installation methods and control panel information. I find it is easiest if you just set the box on its side. HP is nice enough to provide some handles on the plastic that surrounds the printer so you can remove the printer easily from the box. On top of the printer is going to be another sheet of paper that shows how to set up the printer. You can use this to follow or you can follow along with this video. All right, so now we can remove the styrofoam from around the printer. Just slide off one at a time. Then move to the other side, lift it up and slide it out. Now we can remove the plastic and tape and other packaging from the printer.
